Wave goodbye to metal braces and hello to comfort and convenience

If you have considered getting your teeth straightened, but have been put off by the thought of wearing a "traditional" brace; clear, ‘invisible’ braces provide a comfortable, effective and barely noticeable solution.

Using a series of clear aligners that are custom made, Invisalign invisible clear braces will gradually reposition your teeth, giving you the smile you always dreamt of.

The brace is virtually invisible so your friends and family most probably won’t even notice you’re wearing it. The brace is extremely easy to remove, which means you can eat and drink and brush while in treatment.

Invisalign has straightened over 4 million smiles since its launch in 2000! the Invisalign brace uses a series of removable aligners to gradually and gently move your teeth into the desired position, fixed brackets and wires are not needed! The aligners are completely transparent, so they’re really inconspicuous – even up close.

When you choose to straighten your teeth with Invisalign, you’ll be able to see your predicted treatment result before you even begin treatment, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

How does Invisalign work?

Each aligner should be worn for two weeks, before you move onto the next one in the series: gradually moving your teeth little-by-little until they reach their final destination. Along the way we’ll keep a close eye on your progress to make sure everything is moving correctly and in the right direction.

You can take your alligners out for eating, drinking and to brush and floss your teeth. Luckily for you, this means you can continue to enjoy all your favourite foods throughout your treatment, as well as keep on top of your oral hygiene routine: ensuring a healthy, beautiful end result.

What can Invisalign help with?

Invisalign can help with all orthodontic problems.

The benefits of Invisalign® braces

  • Invisalign has been tried and tested: straightening over 4 million smiles in the last 15 years
  • Its very discreet, thanks to virtually-undetectable clear aligners
  • Clincheck software lets you see how your smile should look at the end of your treatment
  • It’s removable, so you can brush and floss your teeth with ease
  • Its custom-made aligners have been designed with your comfort in mind
  • Appointments are quick and convenient with no arduous wire changes or bracket repositioning.

Invisalign® i7

If you have slightly crooked teeth and can’t face the prospect of lengthy orthodontic treatment, Invisalign i7 could be the brace you’ve been looking for. Invisalign i7 is the newest evolution of Invisalign, and it’s been designed specifically to treat very mild crowding or spacing.

It works in the same way as the original Invisalign; using a sequence of virtually invisible, clear aligners to straighten your teeth – avoiding the need for visible fixed brackets and wires. The aligners work by applying pressure to specific teeth at different times, gradually moving them into the desired position.

Like all Invisalign braces, treatment is hassle-free. You can remove your braces for eating and drinking, and you can view your new smile before you receive your braces with Invisalign Clincheck software.

Throughout your treatment we’ll see you for regular progress checks and, because there are no wires to change, we can fit your check-ups around your schedule.

Invisalign® Teen

Invisalign has created a brace just for teenagers. It works in the same way as Invisalign, using a series of clear, removable aligners to move your teeth and reveal a straighter smile. With a few exciting additions making it perfect for teenagers:

Blue wear indicators
To help make sure you’re wearing your aligners enough (20 and 22 hours a day). Invisalign Teen features blue indicators that fade as you wear your aligners.

Room to grow
Invisalign Teen cleverly leaves some space for the growth of adult canines and molars as not every teenage patient will have all their adult teeth when they start orthodontic treatment.

Replacement aligners
Invisalign Teen treatment includes six free replacement aligners – just in case any go astray during your treatment.

Keep doing what you love
One of the great things about Invisalign is that you can remove your aligners for eating and drinking, so your treatment won’t interfere with your lifestyle – or stop you doing what you love. You can also remove your aligners to brush and floss your teeth, so it’s easy to keep your teeth clean and sparkly.
During your treatment we’ll see you for regular progress checks, but because there are no fiddly wires to change, your appointments will be quicker and less frequent; saving you time to focus on more enjoyable pastimes!

The benefits of Invisalign® Teen

  • Invisalign Teen is very discreet – even up close
  • With no metal brackets or wires, Invisalign Teen is more comfortable than traditional braces
  • Blue wear indicators help you to keep track of how often you’re wearing your aligners
  • There’s no need to worry if you lose an aligner because your treatment includes six free replacements
  • You can remove your aligners for eating and drinking, as well as hobbies such as contact sports or music practice
  • You can also remove your aligners to brush your teeth, helping to keep your smile spotless and your breath fresher
  • Invisalign ClinCheck® software lets you see your ‘virtual results’ before you even begin your treatment, so you can be inspired by your new smile right from the start.

Invisalign FAQ

What is the difference between Invisalign and Invisalign I7?

Invisalign and Invisalign i7 work in the same way, moving teeth using a series of aligners. The important difference is that Invisalign i7 uses just seven sets of aligners – straightening teeth in as little as three months.

What problems can Invisalign help with?

Invisalign i7 is designed to straighten mild crowding and orthodontic relapse. If your case is more complex, you might be better suited to Invisalign or Invisalign Lite.

How Much does Invisalign Cost

Invisalign i7 treatment starts from £3,000, but it’s always worth checking our fees and finance page to see if we have any special offers available.

Will my teeth stay straight after Invisalign treatment?

To keep your teeth straight in the long term it’s important to wear fixed and/or removable retainers once you’ve finished your Invisalign treatment.

Is it more expensive than fixed braces?

For some individuals, Invisalign is actually a more cost effective alternative to fixed braces. While lab fees can be more expensive (the cost of making your aligners), appointments can be shorter and less frequent because we don’t need to fiddle with brackets and wires. Prices do differ between patients, though, so for an accurate comparison, come and see us for a no-obligation Invisalign consultation.

Do they stain easily and becomes more visible

You’ll need to change your Invisalign aligners every two weeks, so they shouldn’t get a chance to stain. You should also remove them for eating and drinking, and give your teeth a quick brush or rinse before re-inserting your aligners. Follow these instructions carefully and you won’t have any problems with staining.

Does it take a long time to work

In some cases Invisalign can move teeth more quickly than metal braces. One of the great things about Invisalign is that right from the beginning you’ll have an accurate idea of how long your treatment will take. We will show you a digital representation of your Invisalign journey!
